The Following Organizations have Endorsed Jon Fox for Congress!

The '60 Plus Association'

The 60 Plus Association, a nonpartisan seniors advocacy group with over 425,000 members, cited Fox's strong support for legislation to preserve and protect Medicare and to save it from impending bankruptcy by increasing funding from $4,700 per beneficiary to $7,100 by the year 2002.

The Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge 31 (Norristown)

"Your career achievements and your voting record in both the executive and legislative branches have shown you to be a strong supporter of law enforcement issues. In addition, you have proven yourself to be a friend of peace officers at the county, state, and federal government levels."

The 'Pennsylvania Legal Services'

"Given the complexity and difficulty of that task (assuring that the federal allocation for the Legal Services Corporation was sufficient to promote continued, effective representation of indigent citizens) we are particularly pleased by your industry and skill.

I herein assure you that we will expend every effort to promote continued efficiency in utilizing all available resources for the maximum benefit of our needy clients."

The 'U.S. Chamber of Commerce'

"On behalf of the world's largest business federation---representing 215,000 businesses, 3000 state and local chambers of commerce, 1,200 trade and professional associations, and 75 American Chambers of Commerce abroad---I am pleased to inform you that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed your re-election campaign for the United States House of Representatives.

This vote of confidence comes to you in light of your consistent and continued support of the free enterprise system. At no other time in our nation's history has it been more critical that the Members of Congress provide leadership at the national policy level which will protect and advance the best interests of the business community. Your continued efforts in Congress will help produce sustained economic growth and promote America's competitiveness in world markets."

The 'Council for Citizens Against Government Waste'

"With a rating of 81.82 percent, Rep. Fox attains the highest echelon of congressional waste fighters. He is a rarity in Washington, D.C.," said CCAGW President Tom Schatz, "an elected official who put his vote where his rhetoric was. Rep. Fox worked timelessly on behalf of, not only his own constituents, but all taxpayers. He voted consistently with the taxpayer, often in the face of entrenched resistance and negative spin, to cut wasteful spending, eliminate the deficit, and rein in an out-of-control federal bureaucracy."
