The 10th largest of the PGA’s 41 geographical sections,
the Philadelphia Section
has over 700 members serving clubs from the
storied Merion and Pine Valley to the lesser-known gems like Moselem
Springs, Riverton, Huntingdon Valley, and dozens of others. Celebrating
its 75th anniversary this year, the Philadelphia Section also includes
the Central Counties Chapter, which reaches west to include York,
Gettysburg and State College, and north to Williamsport and Scranton.
The Philadelphia Section conducts more than 70 tournaments
annually, with approximately one third of those events having a charity
affiliation. The Section
is proud to raise more than $600,000
for Delaware Valley charities each year.
