Products Used: Wellcraft® Well Model #5600 with Polycarbonate Flat Cover Project Description: This egress system was installed in a 10" thick, cast-in-place, concrete foundation. We dug the hole for the well with a machine. A drain was installed that leads to the sump pump. The concrete was cut and removed. We framed and installed the Jeldwen® egress window and trimmed it. Then we installed the well, backfilled with stone and installed the cover. Because of the relationship between the existing window and the exterior grade we were able to keep the existing window in place and install the new egress window directly beneath it.
