Products Used: Wellcraft® Well Model #5600 with a Flat Cover Project Description: First, we had to remove the existing fence and relocate one large bush. This egress system was installed in a 10" thick, cast-in-place, concrete foundation. We used our mini excavator to create the hole for the well. We installed a 1 inch drain that goes through the concrete wall and terminates into the existing sump pump pit. We also installed a sump pump and discharge pipe within the existing pit. We saw cut the rough opening in the concrete and removed the slab. We framed the opening and installed the window and trim. We installed the well and cover. Then we backfilled with 3 tons of stone, replaced the fence and cleaned-up the yard.
