Products Used: Wellcraft® Well Models #2060 with Polycarbonate Covers Project Description: These two (2) egress systems were installed on the front of the house in a cinder block foundation. First we jack hammered the existing brick steps and their footers. Then we dug the holes for the wells with a mini excavator. We then cut the rough openings, installed masonry lintels and framed the opening with treated lumber. Due to the size of the wells we installed two (2) drains for each well that lead to a sump pump. We installed the wells and backfilled with stone. Next, the windows and well covers were installed. We kept the wells and well covers above grade to accommodate future landscaping as per the client's request.
