Products Used: Wellcraft® Well Model #5600 with Polycarbonate Flat Cover Project Description: This egress system was installed in a 10" thick, cast-in-place, concrete foundation. We dug the hole for the well with a machine. A drain was installed that leads to a sealed, self contained pump that we installed because the house did not have a sump pump. The concrete was cut and removed. We framed the opening, installed LVL beams, installed the Jeldwen® egress window and trimmed it. Then we installed the well, backfilled with stone and installed the cover. Because of the relationship between the new egress window and the exterior grade we had to build-up the surrounding landscape.
