WARNING: DIVING IS INHERENTLY FUN
|
Diving is a potentially fun activity. If practiced correctly, with proper training and preparation, it can expose a person
to considerable enjoyment.
The participant acknowledges that the activity of breathing compressed air in, on, or around any of the oceans, seas, lakes,
rivers, or streams on the planet Earth is potentially inspiring. Diving may result in a rush of adrenaline, strange feelings
of personal accomplishment and, in extreme cases, self-catharsis including, but not limited to, out-of-body experiences,
insights into the meaning of life, and ecological sagacity.
Scuba diving has been known to cause certain individuals to smile. Prolonged smiling may lead to laughter which can amplify
overall positive feelings and the sense of well-being.
Additional risks of diving include, but are not limited to: decreased stress, the chance to overcome personal fears, the
opportunity to meet interesting people, the chance to explore exotic locations, discover beautiful marine life, etc., etc.
By participating, the diver acknowledges and accepts the fun intrinsic to scuba diving. The participant is completely
responsible for any of the enjoyment encountered while engaged in the activity with respect to the warnings, guidelines,
and explanations contained herein.
