Congratulations to The Kill for winning the Orlando Music Awards for best Metal Band. The Kill is scheduled to go out on an extensive 50-100 date tour starting in December 98 with two other major label acts, "Lux" and "Noise Therapy". Jill Towers has finished her new CD titled, "Welcome to Dream Field". The CD should be in stores at the first of the year. Real Cool Traders new CD, "Tiny Murders" should be in stores on February 16th R. Bruce has a new Live CD that should be in stores at the beginning of the new year. The Kill provided an outstanding show opening for Alice Cooper at the House of Blues, Orlando on August 8th. Rumors have it that Alice liked The Kill so much, he is going to try to get them on the last leg of his tour. Forbidden Records has obtained the "reference masters" to Badfinger's "Head First" album and is contemplating remastering and digitally enhancing it for a very near future release. Mike Gibbins has been contacted by Barry Levinson's company, Takoma Productions, about working on a movie about Badfinger. Look for Forbidden Records to unveil a new and improved "Global Music Search". It will be a very involved project, sure to get the attention of all the aspiring talent of the world. Mike Gibbins is currently working on his follow-up CD with original "Iveys" member, Ron Griffith playing bass and doing some vocals. Ian Gillans "Dreamcatcher" is officially released in the US and Canada, look for it in your local music retailer. Mike Gibbins just returned from a mini-promotional tour of Wales, London, and Amsterdam. Mike's CD, "A Place In Time" is doing extremely well in sales. Ian Gillan is gearing up for a world tour with Deep Purple. Ian will be promoting both Deep Purple's new release, "Abandon" and his own solo CD, "Dreamcatcher". Ian has an extensive schedule including a huge U.S. tour. Mike Gibbins release titled A Place In Time, OFFICIALLY RELEASED in the U.S. and Canada as of April 7th. Ian Gillans Dreamcatcher CD has a new look as well as a new sound. Look for repackaged, remixed, and remastered U.S. and Canada version starting May 19th, 1998. Real Cool Traders are presently recording their new CD for a possible August 98 release. The Kill has an official realease date of July 7th.
